We Got Jennied TWICE!

We Got Jennied TWICE!

Take a look at the photo below. Do you see that lady on the right? That is Jenny.

Jenny is our Kingdom Workers teammate.

Jenny is a very passionate person.

Sometimes Jenny is so passionate that things get done immediately!

I am beginning to call those experiences “I got Jennied.”

We recently got Jennied twice.

It was wonderful!

Take a look.

1. Makeover Casa Gross Edition: One day, Jenny stopped by our house as I was in the middle of a big cleaning/spraying the corners for spiders spree. All of our furniture was pushed to the middle of the living room. Upon noticing this, Jenny immediately put on her persuasion face and continued to share multiple reasons as to why our living room should be immediately painted. After a 30 minute debate, she won. We primed the walls that very night, and by the end of the next day our walls were a “warm” and “happy” and “Caribbean” green instead of dirty hospital white. The pictures below show that the puppies loves it and so do we!

2. Adventure on a Volcano: Several weeks ago Jenny decided that we should take the time to explore our region and we quickly agreed! She immediately took ownership and just this last Friday we got a text that said “Get your camping gear ready we’re headed to the mountains!” Jenny had organized a trip for us and two other friends to Laguna Maule, a volcano lake high in the Andes and right next to the Chile-Argentina border!

We live within hours of some amazing stuff but do not have access to a car so any adventures are pretty limited. Jenny and Jon took a bus to a nearby town to rent this truck! The only problem was – almost all of the cars in Chile are manual and none of us knew how to drive stick shift. Let’s just say that Jon and Jenny learned on their drive back to our town, and I was blissfully unaware.

The drive to Laguna Maule was gorgeous!

First views of Laguna Maule and the volcanic rim. We actually had to go through a border checkpoint to get here! Those white dogs/bears were wandering around and probably belong to neighbors.

The puppies were so thankful that Tia Jenny organized this trip that they stormed her tent.

One of the best parts about camping is the coffee. It always tastes better in the mountains.

I hope it happens again soon. (=
