Hello and welcome to our blog about serving Christ in Chile! We certainly feel excited and blessed to be a part of Kingdom Workers and the mission in Linares where we will work closely with the church and teach English in the neighboring schools. Although we are moving to Chile in June, our journey began with the devotions, emails, skype, and personal conversations that pushed us to take this next step in our lives. We are thrilled to share our experiences and really do want to take you on this journey with us.
While Chile exists in a different hemisphere and has a unique culture, it is also a home to people who share characteristics with all other humans across the globe. Chileans are sinners. Chileans are loved. Chileans are redeemed. Chileans are our brothers and sisters who desperately need to know of God’s grace and their special role as His children.
After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. (Rev. 7:9)
Después de esto miré, y apareció una multitud tomada de todas las naciones, tribus, pueblos y lenguas; era tan grande que nadie podía contarla. (Apolcalipsis 7:9)
Please enjoy the Trek With Us and remember that each and every day is an opportunity to serve in a unique mission field: your home, your workplace, or simply the lines you stand in when running errands. Never underestimate God’s power to use YOU as a tool to advance His kingdom.
